Hi.How to get from Sharm-el-sheikh to Rafah (border crossing) and from Rafah to Gaza City. Or the same situation about getting from Taba.Thanks.
Hi :) We are going to Sharm for the first time with my boyfriend in JUne :) Was somebody in the hotel "Ghazala Beach" ?From the pictures it looks really nice but :) And I have a second question :) I was looking at the http://www.sharmexcursions.com/ is it safe? and I want to book this Cairo - One Day trip from Sharm? Anyone ,who did this excursion before? with this website? :)
I have recently split up with my partner, so it looks like im going alone, which is a first for me and im a little apprehensive about it. Does anybody have any experiences of Jaz Mirabel Beach as a lone traveller. Or are there any other lone travellers going on 5th May who would like to meet up?
Thanks
So, we are going to Sharm around the 1st of June. I'm Egyptian but I don't live there so I'm not too used to it although I've been to Sharm every summer. What's the BEST resort in sharm? in terms of clubs/bars, people and cleanliness.
I was considering sunrise or Hilton sharks bay or the ritz but I need a place where it's lively, clean and not too expensive. Any suggestions?
PS. If anyone is around at that time, it would be nice to chill, my brother and I can show you around.
Hello i am going to Sharm for Easter,i will stay to Melia Sharm Resort....does anyone know somethink about this hotel? it is safe now is Egipt? we are just two women,is this a problem?
Me and my friend are going to Sharm el Sheikh for a week in early may. And i just wonder how the markets are there. I've heard that it's almost imposseble for tourists to go there, cause everybody just pulling you to make you buy from their stuff.
We're just planing to have a relax vacation. But if we feel to, is it safe to go out? And how is the nightlife there?
And is there anyone else who's going to sharm in may?
sounds like a daft question, but do they still require you to declare goods in sharm airport as we are taking 2 phones, 2 cameras and 2 tablets, could really do without having these confiscated. and does it take long to do as we will have a transfer coach waiting for us when we arrive?
Iam Egyptian male, i will stay in sharm from 1of may to 25 any girl there during this time i can share with her the time ,thanks
One more question before I decide. I have been to Ghazala gardens (Naama Bay) and Sultan Gardens (Sharks Bay) recently. Both very good. I am thinking of going to the Royal Albatross Moderna next year. Has anybody been to all three and which was your prefered hotel?
Can anyone tell me a bit about the albatross moderna hotel in Nabq? It has been recommended to me but I am a bit put off by the 5 buffet restaurants rather than other restaurants whe you are served. Thai and Sushi don't appeal to me or my husband much. Also it seems to be a huge resort?
Is any black woman does african braids in Sharm El Sheikh?

3 Single gents going to Sharm on April 1st until the 7th, anyone can help us where to go? and what is the best 5 stars Hotel ?
Hi, I'm going as a single female with my twin daughters (age 9) at end of July, I have had a lot of people trying to put me off taking the kids alone, saying that as a single woman it isn't too safe and that I may be disrespected? Do you get pestered a lot when outwith your hotel complex? Also would my blonde daughters be a target?
I am going to sharm in 10 days (march 21st, 2013)
I really want to go snorkelling, but am worried about bringing the children (8, 11 -both tiny sized girls for their ages, and a teen 17). I do understand that though attacks from sharks are rather rare and perhaps the least 'risky' of events considering so many other areas for concern over there, but none the less, I would like to hear from anyone who has been there (specifically rehana bay if possible -the radisson resort is there). In your travels, how often if at all have you spotted sharks; were they near the reef or in open water. Any ideas on how to keep the kiddies the safest while snorkelling -ie: hold hands or ....? I cannot fathom going to the red sea again and NOT snorkelling (last time I went it was to do my padi cert dives but discovered an ear issue which prevents me from diving- very sad that was... :) ) Do you know what/if any safe guards are in place to protect tourists from -negative- shark encounters?
Hi. I want to travel from Sharm el Sheik to Petra. I don´t want to go by ferry. I´m looking for advice about doing this: I´m planning to go to Taba, then cross the Israel border, and then get into Jordan and go to Petra.
I found that there are "East Delta" buses from Sharm el Sheikh to Taba. Does anyone know the timetable for this? I found different information on several pages so I just wanted to check out if anybody has the correct information.
Thanks for your help!
PnP.
After having to change our Holiday Plans on short notice, we will be staying in Sharm for One week at the end of March. I already was there some years ago, but now wie are going with our Junior (6 years Old). Now I would like to hear your Experiences, especially about tours: which do you think are Good to do with a Child ? Also - if you have been there lately: how's the situation? How did you feel while there? Are the people depressed? Angry? Indifferent? Then: did you visit a pharmacy while there? Any to recommend?
Hi, I am planning a holiday to Sharm El Sheikh in Feb 2013, is it safe to go due to the trouble? Regards, Sandie
We are considering holidaying in Sharm in August this year with a 7 & 4 year old. I am hesitant to book as I fear it will be too hot. We visited Tenerife in August last year and the weather was 35-40 which we coped with fine. Anyone travelled in August to Sharm in recent years??
Hi all, We're delighted to have booked a week in the Concorde Resort for the first week of April...so is anybody else going to be there too at that time? Looking for someone to play tennis with. Also I've been looking at options for excursions, pyramids, coloured canyon, Ras Mo, Tiran Island. There seems to oodles of companies offering similar- who is recommended? Are there any other places/ things to do recommended. Want to get a good balance between getting stuck into resort activities and going off-site.
Are there any resorts close to Naama Bay that have group sports activities for adults on site. I will be travelling alone and don't fancy watersports all the time.
Hi, Myself and two friends, early 30s are coming to Sharm on the first week of April. We're have lots in mind for our week under the sun. - Firstly any fellas going to be there to entertain us? - The other two are louger ladies whereas I like to keep active and see and do lots during the week, which resorts are the best for sports onsite, group activities especially, tennis maybe? - Other things that look appealing are hiking in Coloured Canyon, Blue Hole Daytrip, Tiran Island cruise. Are they worth spending a day on? - I presume a daytrip to see the pyramids is out of the questions these days so can anyone suggest anything else thats a must do? Thank you

Is it safe in sharm el sheikh at the moment?
I am looking to book an AI holiday in January. We are a "50 something" couple with no children so are not looking for clubbing but do want some entertainment in the evening. What is the best area to go to in Sharm and if possible any recomendations for good 4/5* AI hotels providing good food, service, and entertainment in the evenings. Thanks
I am a Sri Lankan passport holder and I need to obtain a prior approval from Egypt to get a visa to go there. And I applied for this four weeks ago and the consulate still haven't heard anything and I'm travelling in 5 days with my Norwegian husband and my kids. Now the consulate is saying that they will issue us a family visa since my husband and kids are Norwegian but I have to give a letter saying that if anything goes wrong in the airport in Sharm El Sheikh I would take all resposibility. I don't understahnd that. What does that mean? What can go wrong after they have issued the visa. Would anyone know?
