Voice Calls Through Internet

Hi again to all the VT Members, I have arrived into Sharjah on work. I am an Indian national. I am told net to net voice calls are banned in the UAE. Is it true? If so, what is the other cheapest mode of voice communication to India from Sharjah? Guidance would be highly appreciated.. Cheers, Vivian

    Well net to net is not banned in UAE, through messenger you can voice chat!!
