My friend is travelling via Sharjah Airport from India to Istanbul and will have to wait for 12 hours there. It seems that a private room is quite expensive but shared room prices are reasonable at the Sharjah Airport Hotel. Anyone knows if my friend can just book a bed for 10 hours in a dorm?

No, you misunderstood. I'm talking about the airport hotel in Sharjah. She's a Turkish citizen and doesn't have a visa, so cannot leave the airport during the 12 hours layer.

when stated dorm, I was thinking of Hostel. Well maybe visiter should apply for a visa in advance airport hotels can be bit high cost. So on here return Lag she can spend few does visit city.
Regarding hotels when i look at booking.com I see hotels near airport. Airport prices room are high not in UAE but all over the world.
