hotel in central Shantou

We plan a gourmet trip to Shantou sampling its famous oyster omelette. Heard of a hotel called 'Guo Mao' which located near food streets. I could not locate this hotel online, it may have changed name.Would anyone know its new name? Would also appreciate recommendation on hotels situated near the local food streets. Thanks!

    restaurants which set on the road where there are fresh sea foods and you have many choices to decide.

    Thanks! We have booked Golden Gulf Hotel which has at a pretty good location hopefully. Was told it was abt 20 mins journey to airport.

    I have been living in Shantou for many years I d suggest you to stay in Maritus hotel where is about 500 m from Golden gulf hotel..but if you already booked the golden gulf is also good as well.. many of my foreigner friends visited shantou, they always stayed at Maritus.

    Oops.. sorry for the very late reply.Hope you enjoyed your stay at the hotel. Airport transfer is cheaper if booked over phone to hotel.
