Re: Air taxi, shuttle from Seward to Brooks Camp, Katmai Nat'l Park
I think there are just two ways to get from Homer to Brooks Camp. One is a floatplane charter directly to the camp, and the other is Era / Alaska airlines from Homer to Anchorage to King Salmon, then a local floatplane charter from King Salmon to Brooks.
The floatplane charter from Homer will probably run about 600$ each rt, and taking Era, Alaska Air, and a King Salmon charter will be about the same or a little more. So unless you have airline miles saved up I think it would be cheaper to go direct. Another advantage of a floatplane charter from Homer to Brooks is that youll see more of the park, the disadvantage is that your flight schedule is more likely to be influenced by the weather.
