Hi folks. My wife and I will be spending the Christmas and New Year Holidays with our son (military) in Seoul. Would like some local adive on where to go. what to do and what to see. How to go gangwon-do from Mount sorak?
My hubby and I are going to have a couple days lay over in Seoul on the New Year's Eve and a New a Year Day. We already got a hotel in Myeongdong. What are the must to see or do during that time of the year there? We are not a night butterflies but love the culture and food. How much money should we take for food, transportations and some shopping? Our flight from Bangkok will landing at ICN around 9ish on December 31. We are planning to take a bus. How long is it going to take us to our hotel, Ibis? Last but not least, should we rent a gps or wifi handle from the airport too? Any suggestions would be great appreciations!! Thanks. Watch out Seoul!
I'm planning a holiday with my hubby for end March 2014. Need some advise on the following :
1. Should we go Seoul or Busan?
2. Can we see cherry blossoms yet?
3. How's the weather during that time? Cooling?
4. What area should we stay in?
5. Is it easy to travel around if can't read and speak in korean?
6. Is 5days 4 nights enough?
Hii!! I would just like to know if there are still cherry blossoms during the last two weeks in May and what is the weather during this time? Can you recommend places to see in South Korea? Thanks!! :)

Hi! I'm trying to find a 3D/2N tour package to Soeraksan from Seoul between 14-19 October but was advised by a tour company, based in Seoul, I contacted, that all 'private tours' have been booked by families who don't wish outsiders to join them, while a 2D/1N SIC (Sit In Coach) package is not available for one person.
However, I found a 'New" Mt Seorak 2-day tour from Seoul advertised by Viator: viator.com/tours/Seoul/2-Day...
Does anyone have any experience booking tours anywhere with this company? Appreciate your kind advice..
Hi, is the event of streets being closed for cars on Sunday happening in February? And which streets are closed then?
Hi! Appreciate your advice on the best area in Seoul for me to stay for a week in Oct i.e. suitable for a tourist from Malaysia, visiting South Korea for the first time? I was initially booked into the Best Western Gangnam when I first made my AirAsiaGo package last minute holiday booking in early June (two days before departure!) which I had to abort but am now not sure whether it should be Gangnam-stule for me or whether somewhere else in Seoul would be more advisable i.e. accessible to good transportation/food/some shopping for Korean fashion? Thanking you in advance, for your kind assistance!

We'll be visiting Seoul this coming January, 2014. Can you recommend some places to stay in Seoul that are very budget friendly?
Hey, so I stumbled upon your site and thought it may be worth a shot shooting a few questions. We're planning to visit Korea in November 2013 for about 3-4 days. Do you have ideas on where to stay + must see places to visit? We like immersion type activities, like eating authentic Korean food, staying at local accommodation, exploring historic places, be it palaces, market, anything near and dear to being a Korean. If you have tips, that'd be more than awesome!
Hi! I searched about this topic in this forum but it seems that there is still no answer for my question.
I will go from Japan to Korea next month and I am considering that where I can get a higher exchange rate? In Korea or in Japan? I will exchange only cash.
If I exchange it in Seoul, where should I exchange it? In the airport or in the Seoul's bank? And which bank/place in Seoul has the highest exchange rate?
Thank you so much!
I'm a guy from germany and i'm travelling to Seoul from 25th sept to 3rd oct. Since i travel alone i would like to ask if it's possible to meet some nice english speaking people there (of course german speaking is also welcome ^^) for having dinner or sightseeing?
I'm a 20 year old Korean male and I've always wanted to visit Korea. I'm most likely going to be traveling alone and want some good company. My Korean is relatively okay and I can definitely get by. Is there any sites or possibly a way to meet with a local with the same interests as me and be able to show me around while having a good time? I'm fairly young and just want to enjoy my summer whether it be clubbing or touring. I just don't want my experience there to be ruined because I'm alone.
Hi, Im going to be 3 days in Seoul by September. I need your recommendations... What should I do? Where should I stay? I want to see the most you can in this time. Thank you! (budget traveler)

I am moving to Seoul very shortly and the family follows soon after. The HR department at the company I am going to work for has suggested they find me an apartment in Pangyo instead of in central Seoul because of the size of the places. I can find very little online about Pangyo except that it is relatively new in comparison. Can anyone clue me in about the area? Are there any other westerners living there?
