Do you have any suggestions for: 1)cheap hotels close to downtown? 2)clubs that play top 40 or hip hop? 3)malls?..anything related to shopping? 4)must see and do things if you are to visit Seattle. Any help will be appreicated. Thanks in advance, Van

Hotels: There's the Moore and the King's Inn. The latter has free, although limited parking. Both are about60-80/night but should be used for the sort of bed+shower accommodations as they're definitely not the nicest Downtown. Clubs: Not sure of specifics, but the Belltown neighborhood is on the north edge of Downtown, and is where many of the clubs are. Malls: Downtown Seattle has a pretty nice stretch of shopping around Fifth Avenue and Pine Street. There's also Westlake Center (where the monorail starts), which is a more traditional shopping mall. Must Sees: The Space Needle is nice if you've never done it. The water taxi/Alki Beach is also pretty fun. I'd also recommend taking the ferry to Bremerton for the views (unless, of course, you're scared of boats or get sea sick). Pike Place Market is also cool, but very touristy and crowded at times. Some of the best seafood in town though. You might also enjoy the "International Village" which is just more or less Chinatown. The underground tours are supposed to be very cool as well, although I've never done it. Hope that helps.

Check out this website http://www.nwsource.com/ for ideas on clubs, I don't usually go to clubs so I wouldn't be very helpful but you should be able to find what your looking for on there. Also Pacific place downtown is probably the best shopping center and surrounding it is Anthropolgie, Urban Outfitters, Nike town, banana republic..the list goes on. Check out fremont, they have great bars and shopping, or ballard has some nice upscale bars...just depends on what your into to. The fremont troll is fun to see, under the aurora bridge, there are tons of great parks to check out and get a good tan, just find a hotel around EMP, pacific place, etc and you can take the monorail back and forth downtown for3 oh shoot, nevermind the monorail is out of service ever since it got stuck with all the passengers, so bus will probably be your best bet. Have fun and let me know if you have any additional questions.
