Hi, When are the school holidays in Scotland - I'm planning on being there end May/beginning of June and don't want to have a quiet time! Also, does anyone know of any festivals/events that are scheduled to take place around that time in Edinburgh and Glasgow? Thanks for your help, Natalie
There are holidays on Friday 23rd May and Monday 26th May. The main summer hols are from Friday 27th June for 6 or 7 weeks. Festivals are usually in July or August but Christy Moore is in Edinburgh and Glasgow on 1st and 2nd June and Neil Diamond is at Hampden Park on 5th June. :-/ Check out The List. www.list.co.uk

I suspect by "school holidays" you mean university or college holidays. We tend to differentiate. However, though some of the students will have gone, some will be doing exams, there should be enough college and university students around to make sure you don't have a quiet time!!
