Which is the most interesting vibrant and alive of these cities? For nightlife, daylife, shopping, Thanks for any advice on travelling to Scotland, I will go next week. Also, does anyone know the website for the Scottish white and yellow pages (if there is one)? Cheers!
Edinburgh is the tourist capital of Scotland, as a Glaswegian I am happy to concede that, but when it comes to shopping, nightlife, etc I think Glasgow pips it. The two are less than an hour apart by train anyway. We dont have the white pages here, but you can try www.yell.com for the online yellow pages. Dave

Never been to Aberdeen but definitely for nightlife and shopping I will second the vote for Glasgow. Daylife might be better in Edinburgh but you can easily get there from Glasgow.
