Do you the company taxi2charleroi and is it reliable? We have to get to the airport in July and their prices are very competitive but as we had never heard about them before, we are trying to find out if it's safe booking our transfer with them.
Thanks in advance for you help!
I along with my wife and 2kids are travelling from London saturday morning train to Brussells and returning sunday night train. We are confused with the time allocation to spend at Brussells and Brugges considering that we have total of 1 and 1/2 days for our visit. We are little inclined to visit Little Europe and Grand Palace in Brussells. We are still working out rest of the plan.
Is it possible to purchase Thalys tickets at the Liege train station? I usually purchase online but will not be able to do so this year.
Anyone recommend a worthwhile book on Brussels for someone moving there? Not just generic tourist rubbish, something about how the city ticks, and its different neighbourhoods? Would be grateful, Stefan
Hi,
I have 4 hours available between two planes, and I plan to visit old town.
How to get from the airport to the old town?
Thanks.
We have about 9 days to spend in Europe before flying back to the US from Milan. Would it be practical to take the train to Brugge--spend a week then train by to Malpensa for our flight. We are unable to change our flight. I have not been able to find information on an international train from Rome to Brugge returning to Milan.

Hi VT gang, I am considering a 7-8 day trip to Belgium in July. I was thinking of flying in to Brussels, then spending a couple of days in Brugge, then ???? where I can do day trips to Waterloo, Bastogne, Antwerp. Should I HQ in Brussels and or is there a better centralized town? Also, once in a location is it easy to rent a bicycle for a week and take it on trains to the towns I visit? And 3rd, any Medieval battle sites I should consider? Thanks, Karl
