Please can anyone suggest a really nice B&B in Scarborough? I'm looking for somewhere near the open air theatre and ideally with either 4 or 5 stars.
Check out www.smoothhound.co.uk. It's a great source for nice B&Bs in the UK, and I've never been disappointed. They have good photos and links to the places' websites. If you want to go a bit further north to Whitby, White Linen there is a lovely B&B.

The Manor Heath in North Marine Drive always looks OK - I stopped outside it on Saturday by coincidence and it gets good reviews on the web.Good for the open air theatre too - just a few minutes walk.

We stayed at The Lysander B&B in Scarborough when we were there and that was really nice, it was close to the open air theatre as well. Website is www.lysanderhotel.co.uk
