SCAD Alumni coming back to visit - don't want to be a tourist - suggestions?

I am planning a trip back to Savannah with some friends from the days I went to school at SCAD (ahem - over 15 years ago). Certainly it won't be the same, not a college student anymore, but I don't want to be a tourist hanging out on River Street either. Any suggestions for live music, places to hang out at night?
