I am a current lebanese university student in Australia thinking of moving to Mecca. Either continuing my studies there or just after finishing my degree in Australia. I was wondering what are the prospects for me to set myself up and find work or a place to reside? And how i would fit in. I would be bringing my mother as well inshaAllah and study nursing/midwifery.

48 year old single man (British) arriving in May to work at Aramco. As ever I have a million questions; here are a few...
1) What sports/gym facilities are there?
2) Satellite TV?
3) Best place to live, Dhahran or nearer the beach?
4) Social side for a single men?

7) I've read some where that there is a 'canteen' stlye place within the compound seeling food all day/eve. Is this true? great for bachelor man :-)

I heard that we cannot pick-up anyone from Riyadh - King Khaled International Airport, who is not in the same company/sponsor. Even, I cannot pick my brother or relative who he is not with the same sponsor/company as I am working for!
