To do this trip would there be busses only trains only or a mix of bus and train Great for advise on this,un
I guess is mix of both. On previous post I gave you details about Dubrovnik -Mostar-Sarajevo bus. Dubrovnik-Mostar bus only Mostar -Sarajevo bus & train Sarajevo-Zagreb only one train daily, service was cut in Dec 2012 Leaves Sarajevo at 9.05 and arrives in Zagreb at 18:15 unfortunately no bus connection.

My first choice would be Dubrovnik - Split by boat and Split - Zagreb by train. However Dubrovnik - Split by bus is fine too.

take bus to mostar, than train to sarajevo, and than bus. enjoy exotic on each kilometer :)
