Are shorts appropriate street dress for males in Bosnia? I will be traveling to Sarajevo and other smaller villages in September, I know that Bosnia is largely Muslim, I don't want to offend the local customs, but I would like to be comfortable on warm days. Of course I would not enter a mosque in short pants, but I am wondering about more casual attire. Thanks for any advice.

Did you miss the replies to your previous question? VT Forum temporarily unavailable Those replies relate to Sarajevo as well as to Bosnia in general. My personal advice is to gauge the situation when you are actually in it. If you would feel uncomfortable being the only man wearing shorts then just don't wear them.

Bosnia is a European country! We wear normal clothing, just like in other European countries
