Hello everyone, I am going to Sarajevo for a few days in early September and I was wondering what is the best way to go to the city centre from the airport? I know there are taxis available, but are they expensive? Should I be aware of anything (any scums etc.)? Is there a bus to the city centre and if yes, how much does it cost? Any information would be valuable, thank you.
Yes, there is a bus to the centre from the airport. But the bus stop is not at the airport. It is not easy to find the bus stop. There is main road just outside of the airport, cross this road go strait and pass the some back street you will see another main road, find a bus stop at this road. The city centre is in the left hand direction of the airport. Bus ticket is around 1$. When you get on the bus pay cash and do not to validate you ticket at the machine at the bus. If you don’t do that you may fine. The city centre is called “charshi”. Get off at the last stop
