snowboarding in sapporo

Hi everybody, My friend and I are from Hawaii,and we are planning a snowboarding trip to Japan in January,and we will be in Sapporo for 3-4 days.Can anyone give me some information on where to snowboard around Sapporo area or Niigata area? and information on how to get to the mountain?     Aloha. I recommend Sapporo Kokusai ski area. It is in Jozankei highland spa area, 60 mintutes from Sapporo City. For your info, please try this site. welcome.city.sapporo.jp/engl... Enjoy your ski & boarding.
