I am arriving solo to Hanoi in early February, and I am wondering what it's like to travel in Sapa, and surrounding region during that time. I have been told the weather is less than ideal. I would love it if anyone could share any first hand experiences. Thanks/Ernest

Around that time it will be very cold, but can still be incredably bueatiful, just make sure you have some jumpers. Jonny

Agree. Was there late Jan. It was very cold! Bring ur jackets with you! and gloves and wellies too for the muddy mountain trekking. But it was worht it, the views are awesome. I'm working on my Sapa page now.
