Sorry if this post isn't in the appropriate forum. I didn't know whether to post in China or Mongolia so settled on both.
I am looking to take this train route in June, preferably on or around the 27th June, when I believe there is a train. I want to book this in advance, as it's the busy season. Can anyone recommend any travel agencies for purchasing tickets, or advise me of the best way to buy?
Any help would be much appreciated!

The restaurant was located just outside the west side of the Forbidden City in Beijing (China).
The photographer "redhawk1700" took the photo some years ago and doesn't recall the name of the restaurant anymore.

I have found cheap tickets online to Beijing for Christmas and New Year 2013/2014. We would like to stay a couple of days in Beijing and then go somewhere nice for sun and beaches. We have been searching for cheap flight tickets from Beijing to Bali, elsewhere in Indonesia, Philippines, etc, but it is hard make a decent search when we are not sure about where we want to go. All we know is Beijing as the departure city and low cost flights to a beach.
Does anyone know a nice and sunny place where flight tickets are cheap from Beijing?
We have already been to Thailand and Malaysia so we would like to try a differt country. Another stop a couple of days in Seoul or Hong Kong might be possible as well so cheap flights from there to nice beaches would also be an option.

I'm travelling to Sanya in July and I i want to visit some other city that would be interesting to see and quite close to Sanya. I'm on budget, so a definite no to star cruises to Vietnam. Hong Kong would be perfect, but I have no clue how to get there. Any suggestions?

Going with my bf to Yalong Bay and reserved Resort Golden Palm this Easter. However, on checking the pictures, the rooms seem old and ther'es exactly 1 pool. Does anyone know anything about this hotel and if it was good? (does it even have a bathtub?) Or how about the food or eating in nearby places? Concerns: 1. single pool will be crowded with kids family etc. 2. room seems old.... 3. prefer a bathtub Looking to reconnect and rejuvenate again as couple, and prefer a warm room ;) Budget 500-600 RMB per night. I'm thinking of staying in the newly built Kempinski Hotel this Christmas. But since the hotel doesn't provide any shuttle bus service, does any one know if there's any public bus running to and from the Kempinski Hotel area to downtown of Sanya and to Dai Dong Hai Bay also (cos I want to go to the 'Spring Garden' seafood market for meals)?
