i would like to know the cost of living on the island i.e the price of a alcoholic drinks eating out day trips all the things people like to do on holiday is the island clean anything of help really

This question is a bit too vague. Are you staying there long-term, or going for a short holiday? What are your usual spending habits like? Generally, I would allow for around 200-350 RMB/day if you're travelling around mainland China on a budget -- not shoestring, but budget-minded.
