Staying in Fira for 3 days, need suggestions!

Hi, I'll be staying at El Greco Hotel in Fira for 3 days in Sept 2008. I'd love any suggestions for the following? Casual, inexpensive places to eat. Being sure to include vegetarian items, as I'm a vegetarian, but my companion is not. Is there a great beach that we should hang out at during the day? If so, how should we get there? Is there an internet cafe somewhere? Any other suggestions on what we should do or see?!?! Can't wait and thanks in advance!
