Hi All, I will be going to Chile (Valle Nevado) in August to ski (from Brazil) and I had couple of questions: - What is the best alternative for lodging? The price at the resorts is very high so I was wondering if there hotels or house to rent close by, how long would be the ride to get to the ski resort every day... - I was wondering whether it will be cheaper to buy a snowboard rather than renting it for a week. The rental in Valle Nevado is ~50USD/day (I stay 7 days so 350USD). Can I find a used snowboard in Santiago easily? how much ~? and where? - Any info on the resort in general would be usefull (are they any stores to buy food, alcohol...) Thanks for the help
