Hi Guys We are a family of four (two forty-ish adults and two teens aged 17 and 13) from the UK. This is our third visit to the US. Previously we've based our adventures mainly around Florida but this time we fancied a change. We're having 3 nights near Lake Elsinore at a friends home, then 5 nights in SD and 5 nights in LA. We need hotel suggestions please for LA, preferably the Santa Monica area. We were originaly going to book a good priced hotel in the El Segundo area but after reading various threads on VT we've decided we'll be better off in the more 'touristy' Santa Monica so we can walk safely to restaurants etc with the kids in the evenings. So, any suggestions for well priced, family friendly hotels in this area would be very helpful...thanks
The Holiday Inn in Santa Monica was reasonably priced.Our try some hotels in Marina Del Ray
