hi folks, we will be visiting cabo in june for 4 nights... we are a party of 4 adults and 2 toddlers, 1.5 and 2.5 yr olds... we're actually staying in a resort in San Jose Del Cabo... any suggestions on kid friendly activities? how about kid friendly restaurants? would we need to rent a car? how much per day for renting a car? trying to figure out whether it would be better to rent a car than taking a cab or what not... we do have 2 toddlers traveling with us... thanks in advance...

My boyfriend and I are looking to book an all-inclusive in July. We are looking at the Casita rooms at Secrets as they have a private plunge pool and sun deck. Previously at other resorts, we have to wake up at 7am (or earlier) just to leave towels on a pool chair and we don’t want to have to wake up so early on this trip. My question is, is this really necessary for this time of year? How busy are the all-inclusive? Should we spend the extra money to get a plunge pool and sun deck? or can we sleep in and still get a chair by the pool?

I will be staying in Puerto Morellos for 8 days and on one of those days I'd like to visit Chichenitza, Vallodolid and a cenote.
Most tours seem to go to Ik Kil but I have read that the best cenote is Dzitnup. Which do you think are the best cenotes and and do you know of any tours which include Dzitnup, Chichenitza and Valloladid?
Or is it possible/easy to visit them in one day with public transport/taxi? How much does this cost?

I would love to go to Puerto Escondido but it's easier and cheaper to fly to Huatulco. I was considering renting a car and driving as I think it is about 100 KM distance. Is it safe? I have been to Huatulco and love it. I found it very safe.

I have seen a number of comments from travelers that they are dissatisfied with the All- inclusives. Is there a real good one? If this is not a great all inclusive, I would like to know the names of several good hotels that either have dinning rooms or are within a short distance from good restaurants. It is safe to go to Huatulco considering its proximity to Oaxaca. Any information would be appreciated.
My wife and I will be traveling to the Huatulco area later this week. We will be staying in Mazunte, but would like to explore the surrounding areas during our seven day stay on the coast--Puerto Escondido, Huatulco, maybe a trip into the mountains. Not sure whether to rent on car or depend on taxis or public transportation for these excursions. Looking for advice. How is the driving in these areas--anything particularly challenging? Also am a little confused about insurance coverages that would be necessary. I realize that we would probably have to purchase some extra coverage, but not sure how much and how this works. What would be a reasonable cost for a seven day car rental in the area? Any help would be greatly appreciated--the sooner the better as we are leaving Tuesday! Thanks.
