Daytona Beach Jun 18, 2015 at 1:57 PM

I have been to Orlando, done the Disney World experience and all that. I have a hotel booked in Daytona already, never been there. Am i making the right choice, or should i go with my other choice of Legoland? I have a 4 year old and a 12 year old, both boys. I also want to know if there is enough in Daytona, (or that area), to keep my kids happy and amused? Any suggestions would be great and very much helpful. OR should i go to the Orlando area where i know the kids will not be bored? I am looking for a beach area and so is my husband, but don't want to bore the kids completely. Thanks

Miami International Airport to Fort Lauderdale with UBER

      Miami Jun 28, 2015 at 5:24 AM

      Hello

We will arrive in MIA a Saturday around 5PM in November and we wsant to reach Fort Lauderdale without renting a car. So we foresee to use a UBER car (or an other firm).
How can we ask to be picked up at the airport in the avenue which is in front of the airport premises where are the buses and the taxis ?
Must I use my smartphone before the departure or after the arrival ?
What would be rougthly the price ?
Does UBER allowed to provide the service in Florida or it is non admitted as in California ?

      Thanks for your advice.

by aladzz-m Online Now Jan 18, 2011 at 10:10 AM

      Hi
We're a family of 4 (two young children age 2 & 5). we are thinking of making trip to Florida in mid-to-late may and want to stop for 2-3 days at a nice beach city. we're debating between Naples or Sanibel Island. We will be coming from DisneyWorld so we just want a pretty beach we can relax at for a few days and I don't think we'll be doing too much sight seeing. Price wise I think Sanibel will be better but I'm not sure. Our criteria is: a)fair pricing on accomodation and dining; b)good, relaxing beach c)maybe a few side things to see.
if you think there are cities that we would enjoy more, let me know, but I've been to Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Miami and Daytona and I think I want to do something different.
      Thank you.

Is there a place close to these shops that we can park our car for the day? Is there a fee? What's the weather like in February? 6 Days in Sanibel or Sarasota

I will be crossing the state of Florida to explore the other coast and am looking at Sanibel Island or Sarasota. I am wondering if 6 days is too long to be in Sanibel. Depending on who you ask, different people say it gets boring once you picked the shells and gone to the State Park. I love the art in Sarasota, it is my next choice. I think there is more to do there for 6 days. I am bringing my two dogs, Sylvester, a 6 lb. maltese and Buster Brown a 7 Lb. miniature pincture.
