by BobRoul Online Now Apr 22, 2010 at 11:37 AM

Can tou tell me how often buses run to Oslo and do they go to the railway station. Do you have to buy a ticket before boarding. We have to get to Lillestrom.

The buses leave after the arrival of a flight. You can check the timetables and more information here: torpekspressen.no/Englishinf...

The tickets can be bought upon entering the bus, they accept credit cards or Norwegian currency.

Last stop is the bus terminal in Oslo which is really close to the trainstation.

There are also free shuttle buses to the train station. They depart from just outside the terminal building, leaving the airport 10 minutes before the train departs from the station (there are monitors with time tables by the exit, but the trains go roughly every hour on a normal day). These trains go via Oslo to Lillestrøm, so it's probably more convenient than going by bus to Oslo, but slightly more expensive.

You can buy train tickets from Narvesen (just to the left of the main exit) or on the train (though it's a bit extra if you buy them on the train).
