My wife and I are staying in Sancerre for 3 days in early October and would like to tour the local wineries/vineyards around Sancerre via a bike. Mainly for one day, is there anyplace in town to rent a bike? Is this something we need to make advanced arrangements? Also, any previous routes discovered that one is willing to share? :) Thanks! you can book with the tourist office there berrycyclettes.fr/-principe-... that is the site they recommend. Its a nice ride in a vélo or bike in the vinyards. and this outfit I have used and very good, tells you all about it in English cycling-loire.com/cycling-us... hope it helps
