I might need to travel from San Salvador to Guatemala (Antigua) in January. Any recommendations for a comfortable bus company? How long is the journey? How about the border crossing experience? Thanks

Both Ticabus and King Quality operate direct bus service from San Salvador to Guatemala City. They both have bus stations in the Zona Rosa and have daily departures. They take about 5 hours and cost around25. King Quality is a little nicer and more expensive. Do a google search for their web sites and schedules. Robert Broz Suchitoto El Salvador

Thanks Robert. This time I will be spending 3 days in San Salvador, but hopefully next time will visit Suchitoto also.
