Looking for a hotel in San salvador near the Metro Center ($40-$50/dbl). Thanx Ricardo
The last time that my wife and I stayed in the Hotel Miramonte (which is just behind the Hotel Real InterContinental, which itself is right across the street from MetroCentro), we paid40 a night. The rooms aren't anything to write home about, but they are clean and the hotel is very secure. A nicer option in the same price range, but a little bit further from MetroCentro in a neighborhood near the Estadio Flor Blanca, is the Villa Serena, where some people I used to work with would always stay when they were in El Salvador. From what I could gather when visiting them there, the people who run the Villa Serena are very kind and helpful.
