My husband and I will be arriving in San Salvador in May 2008 and want to travel to Copan. What is the easiest and safest way to travel there? Thanks,
Check King Quality and Hedman Alas bus companies. the closest you'll probably have to go to San Pedro Sula first and then catch another bus to Copan. make sure you go to the ruins and not to the other town of the same name. You could also catch a Taca Regional flight to San Pedro Sula.

You can also buy one of the daily newspapers: La Prensa Grafica or Diario de Hoy, and look at the classifieds. There are always tours to Copan to be found!
