I'm inquiring about buses in San Pedro Sula. I've been looking on the web for specific bus schedules and rates but having a hard time finding them. Any advice on finding one from San Pedro sula to the Copan Ruins?
The Hedman Alas bus line is the safest in the country. Also comfortable and generally on time (+/- a few minutes). You will find them on the web at http://www.hedmanalas.com/index.htm For other bus options you can check the Transportation Guide section of Honduras Tips Magazine http://www.hondurastips.honduras.com/ (its the Guia de Transporte link in red) The servicio a escala buses are the true Honduran experience. Rarely chickens but definitely three crammed in the seat of a school bus which was retired out of the US schools systems 20 years ago, stops every 100 meters or so, the not infrequent breakdown and the less frequent robbery (you'll save money on the ride if you make it there).
