My husband and I are going at the last week of May. Very excited! Staying at changes in latitude I think close to San Pedro. Want to snorkel as much as possible! Sny info appreciated!! Have traveled the world and last March 2013 spent a long time in Thailand and some time on Kaoh Tao! It was amazing as is all of Thailand!! Beth
Reviews say it is the best thing ever done, also say physically fit, also mention claustrophobia being a problem. I wish I knew people here that know me that had done it, I do know many who have been to Belize but not done the cave. I have read many trip adviser reviews, I guess a few more opinions, especially those who I know their travel style, would be helpful. It sounds awesome but also a bit scary. ALSO...Tikal? Is it really the end all? I kind of thought one or the other in terms of time and money. Zip lines and cave tubing if the rivers are not too high in September are for sure, then snorkeling for sure on Caye caulker and maybe a few nights on ambergris caye as well. one more thing...planning on being in San Ignacio for Independence day, market in the morning. Good idea?
