Two travel questions, would it be worthwhile to rent a car for a day to drive around the island? Also, what would be the best way to get from Old San Juan to El Junque? (inexpensive) Thanks!
We rented a car to get to El Yunque, it was so much cheaper than the organized tours and we had a lot more time to spend there and could do what we wanted. We rented from Charlie's, I was a little leery of renting from an unknown company but so many people recommended them that I went for it and they were fine. No extra hidden charges and no problems.
