I am not a young partier, just want somewhere easy to get a good night's sleep, clean and affordable. What are your experiences with hostels in San Jose. I wanna hear the good, bad and ugly.
I've got a good story. Nothing ugly. I stayed in a place called the natural hostel and the people were friendly and spoke fairly good english. No parties or wild events. Most bad and ugly stuff happens in the bars and casinos at night. I found this place using this sites search tool, I searched for hostel: costaricabeauty.com/viewprof... If you want to hear ugly stories I could tell you my experiences with people on the buses in costa rica. Guys telling me that they are with the "secret service of costa rica" and that I am too tall to be riding on the bus... but thats a different story. Never had any issues with the hostels I stayed at. Just talk to them beforehand and make sure they seem decent.
