Hello, Austin folks! We are going to be in town over the 4th of July. What's the best bet for fireworks? Also, we'll be staying downtown because our 16-yr-old son is going to a gaming thing at the Convention Center. Do we need a car to see the best that Austin has to offer? We'll be there from the 3rd to the 9th.

Planning a flight to San Francisco from San Antonio, possibly in July or August. Can a significant amount of money on airfare be saved by flying into an airport outside of San Francisco & then driving for around (up to) an hour to get to SF?
Hi My new boyfriend and I are planning a 4 day trip to San Fran in February. We are wanting a mid range hotel or bed and breakfast that is charming and embodies the feeling of san francisco. Romantic and charming are high on my priorites. Does anyone out there have a recommendation for us? Also, We are planning our itinerary. Are there any of the beaten path attractions that aren't listed in the travel books that we should see? How about the best place to check out some kool sexy toys? Thanks for the advice in advance!
