expedia does a 'pet friendly' search expedia.co.uk/San-Francisco-... I cant really help you other than that but I can say that if you have a travel kennel with you so that the dog is not 'loose' in the room you *may* be judged more favourably when enquiring..offering a small doggy deposit (dont laugh you know what I mean) sometimes goes in your favour too...good luck with finding somewhere

I don't really know the answer to you your question, but you might take a look at: dogfriendly.com/server/trave... Which may give you the answers you need. Here you'll find quite a list of places that will welcome your puppy. Keep in mind that most places acceepting pets will also charge some sort of deposit to cover any damage caused by the little one. Hope this helps.

Hi, The dogfriendly.com website is a great resource for people traveling with pets....of the hotels listed, I think if you can afford it http://www.marinamotel.com/ Marina Motel is nice because it is very close to Crissy Field and the Presidio, both great places to walk around with a dog. I don't think a hostel is a place that will take a dog so maybe you could see if a service like airbnb might work with you (since it's private rentals) and also be in your price range? Good luck with your search!
