My husband and I will be in San Diego visiting my son and some old friends from when we lived there about a hundred years ago. We'll be staying in a hotel in Hotel Circle and I do love Old Town. If you would like to meet for coffee or a marguerita...whatever...we might be game. Let me hear from you if you are around SD next week.
Have fun on the east coast....so far Expresso and Imkluque are game for a meeting. Looking forward to some Mexican food, sunshine, Old Town and LaJolla.

Looks like we'll have a group after all! We're looking at Wednesday eve in Old Town. I'll be calling Imklukue when we hit the ground to fine tune our plans. Maybe we can turn my son into a VTer as well. He's certainly travelled enough and loves it. Check him out on my HomePage. He's the bare chested wonder of the family. :-)

Hi Janet, Looks like you spelled my name right unless the first letter is an i not an L. Vicki is right you should pick a time and place to let everyone know where to meet. Looks like we won't be having rain this week so that should be a plus. L.M.K. Luque

Hi Janet and All, Let's pick the spot now and then anyone who wants to join us can. Casa Bandini on the veranda. There is plenty of room and it is not used very much as a rule. We can have drinks out there and if we decide to have dinner it will be convenient and not too expensive--depending on what you order. It's a date then. Wednesday, 19 January 2005, 5 p.m. on the veranda at Casa Bandini in Old Town. Bring warm clothes and a jacket-even though the day is expected to be warm, it will cool down pretty fast as the sun fades.--I know they have heaters in the patio, but I can't remember if there are heaters on the veranda or not. See you soon, Linda

I wouldn't mind looking at the sunset in Albuquerque. Always loved their skies. We're back home now and hoping to post a San Diego page soon. Great visit with Linda...unfortunately too short. We had to run to another date with old friends. Had time for a great Marguerita tho....hit the spot! Wished for three!! (who am I kidding....I wouldn't be walking... :-) )

Hi Expresso! I'm sorry to have missed you too. I'd love to hear about the progress in Albuquerque. Hope you are having good luck in relocating. If you want to see what we came home to, check my Homepage. It snowed for 17 hours and we have almost 3 ft of snow. My pal in Warsaw says they only have about an inch!! No matter...I still love the four seasons and New England. Maybe you will meet my son on another VT mtg. in San Diego. Thanks for writing.
