is anyone familiar with spanish language schools in san cristobal?
I attended this school in 2005. They were patient, very helpful, the instructors are excellent.The classes are small and personlized and one on one tutoring is available. The field trips and the get togethers were fun and informative. The owners Erika and Michael will be glad to help with travel plans, local information. I am looking into the same thing right now. I have rented a casita in San Cristobal for a month July 2 - August 3 to study Spanish and tour the area. When do you plan to go there to study? My casita is for 2 people and I am looking for a travel companion. Karen

My husband took 2 hours a week of one on one conversation with a young woman who was a teacher at the school but started her own classes. He found it extremely helpful and she only charged 6.50 an hour. If you already have some spanish she would be good for you plus she knows many spots of interest. email me if you want her name and web site. Carol

I really do suggest the one in my previous post. I have a question for you tho, The casita you are renting is the email for the owner Casa38@aol ? The reason I ask is that I rented from them before. I am going back this year and am wondering who you are renting from for future reference. Gracias Elizabeth

Well, I took 3 weeks Spanish classes at Casa de la Vista, also I stayed there. It was wonderful. Professor Luis is the best here, in the US, Japan, etc. He is a guru about languages. Also his place has bungalows, rooms with private bathrooms, and everything is clean, cozy & his team is very kind and helpful. www.casadelavista.org Highly recommended. John
