Hi, My friends and I are planning a 4 week travel in Argentina from mid September to mid October. We really want to see Bariloche as well, since we've heard it's the most beautiful place in Argentina. However, understood that since it's on the south, it might still be pretty cold and even snowy on that time period. Can you tell me what is the actual weather on that time period based on your experience?
Based on my experience, which was in August a couple of years ago, in Buenos Aires the weather was not so cold, but you could wear long sleeves and jeans and still be comfortable. Since June/July is the winter season in most South American countries, at September and October the weather will not be as cold as you may expect. Bariloche tends to be colder than BA, because it is in the mountains, but I believe it will not be snowing anymore at this point. A nice jacket will be enough. Let me know if you have any other question.

Hi, im from Argentina. I don't speak too much english but i'll try. The weather is fine. You will not need heavy clothes. Just a jacket for the night, maybe a little more. Its a dry weather, just cold, not artic jaja. I recomend you "7 lakes road" road n°234. Stopping at lake hermoso, villa la angostura, san martin de los andes. Bariloche is just fine, dont need to stop for too many days to explore it. Circuito chico is another option. Thats the natural option, but if you want, one night you should get to dance at nights clubs.

I've been to Bariloche in October. No point in bringing heavy clothes, you wont need em. A light jacket is enough. The evenings were in the low 50's sometimes dipping down into the upper 40's, a fleece jacket was quite enough for me.
