Is it possible to get by private car from Puerto Montt Chile to Bariloche Argentina through lakes and land dut to the volvanic activity in the area?

    Hi, you can rent a car to go to Bariloche, even though the Cordon Caulle is still in red alert. The roads aren't affected by the ashes of volcanoes now like in June and Andean Lake Crossing is operating with normalcy, so you will enjoy of a clean landscape. Here you can find a good car rental in Bariloche en.visitlatin.com/bariloche-... and if you want to go from Puerto Montt, you have to go through Puyehue Lake to Cardenal Samore Passage until argentinean Nahuel Huapi Lake to San Carlos de Bariloche. Best.
