BEST SHOPPING DATES IN SAN MARCOS

Hello, I've been in San Marcos Outlets twice, and I noticed that the prices were not attractive during the Tax Free weekend. Is this a really a good date to go for shopping, or should I choose Labor Day weekend or another one ? I'm interested about getting children clothes and maternity clothes. Please help me to arrange my trip !
