Hi I plan going to Salta by joining a local bus tour from Iguaza to Salta via Tucuman and vice versa. Is the road transport between these two places safe? Grateful for your advice. Many thanks. Cheers Joyce

Hi, I made the trip from Salta to Iguazu on second week of September, there's no need to go to Tucuman if you don't want to. Company FLECHA BUS goes from Salta to Iguazu, it makes several stops Gral Güemes, Joaquin V. Gonzales, Taco Pozo, Resistencia, Corrientes, Posadas and Puerto Iguazu. It takes about 24 hours and they give you snacks, some drinks and movies during trip. It costs around 60 dollars I think. It leaves at noon. From Tucuman it's also possible, I think company Andesmar does the trip. It leaves aroun 11 am I think. From San Salvador de Jujuy you can take a bus to Gral. Güemes and change the bus to Iguazu, also with company FLECHA BUS. Good luck
