Hello, Am planning to drive to Salalah.Can anyone advice me on the most optimal route to Salalah from Dubai.Also please suggest which are routes which has the most scenery. I am planning to cover it one day starting very early at around 4 am. It would be very helpful if any of you would be kind enough to share the route map. Tips,inputs, advice, suggestions are most welcome. Regards Vishal
Hi The most direct route will take about 16.5 hours- a VERY long way to drive in one day. The scenic route would be along the coast. But of course, will take even longer. Is there a particuar reason why you want to get to Salalah? Musandam Peninsula (which is near to Dubai) is very beautiful- at northernmost point of Oman.
