Hi Can any of the members give me driving directions from Dubai to Salalah Nishad
Hi from Dubai :-) Phew! That's quite a long drive... it takes around 18 hours at least (it's already 12 hours drive from Muscat to Salalah). I've not yet driven all the way to Salalah, but I've driven to Sur and Ras Al Hadd and we actually stopped overnight because we didn't want to do the whole drive in 1 day. The drive is easy, but (as with most highways through the UAE and Oman) flat and boring, which can make you pretty tired. I can't advise on the exact route, but do note that once you are past Nizwa there aren't many petrol stations and I've heard of many travellers in that area that carry jerrycans to fill up with petrol with them, just in case...

Hi Nishad, Via Al Ain, cross Mezyad border, drive to Ibri and at Ibri take the right road to Salalah This road byepasses Nizwa and joins somehwere in between the Adam~Hayma route which leads to Thumrayt and then to Salalah.
