Is Place Richelme the location of the Thursday market in Aix, and do you have a favorite café in or near the market?

      Hello Forum,
I need to print out a Microsoft Word file. Can anyone suggest a service in Nice which does that? I ask because my poor research skills are preventing me from finding an answer.
      Thank you,

      Holiday rentals

      Nice Feb 27, 2015 at 7:49 AM

      Hi everyone!

I'm looking to stay in Nice, France for 5 days over the summer with my daughter and her two children (age 7 and 12). We are going there mainly for a relaxing time, and would be seeking accommodation near the beach, and fairly central. I am not fond of the hustle and bustle of hotels in big towns so we'd prefer an apartment or a holiday complex, unless someone has any recommendations?

Has anyone heard of any good agencies?

      Thanks,
      Lola

    • A good half-way point city to stay over on the way from Nice to Florence

      Nice Feb 6, 2015 at 10:37 AM

Travelling from Nice to Florence by train we were thinking of staying in Genoa for one night. We do not want to spend 7 hours on the train. We have been discouraged by some reviews of Genoa. We would like to know if they are warranted? If so can anyone suggest another city on the train route where we might stop over, tour just a bit, have dinner and leave next morn for Florence.
      Thank you,

Are most shops in the winter months open or closed on town? I suppose what I am really asking is Saint-Remy-de-Provence very tourist-oriented?
      Merci,

      Hello,

We're contemplating the idea of staying in one place in Provence during our 9 day stay. Is this recommended or should we opt to stay in 2 different B&Bs?Any advise on this?
One of the places is in Plan D'Orgon and the other place is in Saint Remy de Provence.

On the one hand, we would like to really connect with one of the places and on the other hand, it's not like we're going to just sit around all day as there are things to see so moving to another B&B should not be a problem.

      Your advice is much appreciated!

      Many thanks,
      Elle

by Alimacg Online Now Dec 7, 2004 at 6:30 AM

Hi everyone! Maussane is going to be the base to a holiday of "a month in Provence". Are the villages around Maussanne easily accessible? is the area pretty and is there alot to see and do? transport to Avignon? car or bus? Please help - this was not my destination of choice, so I have not really done much research. Thanks Ali
