Hello, Is there a way to go to Dinan & Dinard from Saint-Malo (I only have one day in Saint-Malo)? Thank you, Rita
Hi, The easiest way to Dinard is by a little ferry boat that you take just in front of the walled city (at the Porte de Dinan) across the River Rance, takes about 10 minutes. I'll check for buses tomorrow but for Dinan by train you have to go to Dol de Bretagne from St Malo, change there and get another one for Dinan. You can also take the river trip down to Dinan, takes a while but it's a lovely trip (about 30 kms).

Hi, Ok, you have 4 (four) buses per day from st. Malo to Dinan. They leave from the Esplanade St. Vincent, which is just in front of the dungeon and town hall, outside the walls.The company is TIBUS and they are green (easy to spot). They leave at 08h00, 11h00, 14h30 and 18h25 and it takes approx 50/55 mins. The return trip from Dinan leaves at 07h00, 10h00, 13h30 and 17h25. BTW, the boat over to Dinard starts at 9h00 in the morning and a return fare is 7E50 in season and 6E90 outside of July and August
