Haven't used this place but it looks impressive. We look for the municipal campgrounds but there doesn't appear to be one in St. Emilion. This place advertises itself as the ONLY campground in St. Emilion. They do have shuttle buses into the center of town too. We use a tent and I note they have tent sites.

It's a lovely area. I hope you enjoy it.

When in France you are never far away from a camp site (or a picnic area!)
We have met up with the only one of our children who is a serious camper with his family all over the place.
I don't know this one - and they do vary - but if you want to see more google .

    and have a great time.

That's funny ranger49. That's the same camp site I listed above. It does say it's the "only" campsite in St. Emilion. It looks lovely and the town is wonderful . . . as I'm sure you know. I suspect you've visited often.

I meant to also mention that campgrounds can be found in "Camping and Caravanning France" which is available on amazon.com and in most large book stores. That's what we used to use and they cover a lot. Today you can probably find it online someplace.

    Enjoy St. Emilion.

taking the link from beausoleil because its the one my family uses in France for summer long vacation periods. We stayed normally by the beach in the Medoc using yellohvillages.

Great organisation and sites you wont go wrong.
    Cheers
