I am planning on moving to Sacramento (from the cold midwest....brrrr) in a few months. I am a 28 year old architectural designer looking to live near a trendy, urban area of Sacramento. Are there any other loceles besides downtown Sacramento to consider? Any suggestions would help greatly.
In the Point West area on Exposition boulevard, there are some nice apartments for young professionals. You may want to consider the commuting distance to your work. The traffic is really bad at commute time, so it would be best if you lived close to your work. You can also post your question on www.craigslist.com for the Sacramento area. Lots of young people use this site and you may get better information as to where the "trendy" places are. Good luck! Jeannette (from Sacramento).
