Hi All, Just thinking about leaving Portland, OR, and stoping over in Sacramento on Wed/Thurs next. The plan is to arrive by train, hire a car, and head for the Lake, and stay overnight. Look around Nevada a bit on Thurs, returning to Sacramento for overnight on Thursday, Then leaving for LA on Friday am. So, is there anyone there who wants to meet up or share some travel? Love to hear from you. Geoff
Hi Jenn, Thanks for your response. I knew about you and your great page, of course. I'll email you if that's ok? Not too sure of the finer details, but if all goes to plan, I will arrive in Sacramento just after 6 am on Wednesday. Have to return there, to return hire car, if I have one, by late Thursday, and stay over, to catch bus/train in the morning. Later Geoff

If your connections are tight then take a taxi, limo, or shuttle. The distance is not all that far, probably 15 miles. ... more
