You will find that most people over there speak excellent English except for possibly elderly people who didn,t learn English at school. If you mainly need someone to interpret historical documents you may need help. Records from cemeteries are kept for many years by the Church associated with that particular cemetery. I take it you are trying to find something about family history? When my sister and I tried to find out about our forebears the main problem was that with Stuttgart, where our lot come from, being heavily bombed in the war, many archives were no longer in existance.
